For Memorial Day Weekend we went camping up at Caesar's Creek. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend. We went with some friends.
When we went to the lake to throw sticks and rocks in....
...the big boys spotted a snake. It freaked our friend Amanda out. She freaked the boys out from going near it. She even freaked out some other little girl who was playing on the beach. The little girl threw a stick at it and hit it dead on. It changed course. So thanks little girl for saving Amanda's life.
Isaiah and his friend Collin enjoying throwing sticks.
Elijah scavenging for rocks and sticks. He was a busy and focused little boy.
Ernie hanging out with his walking stick. He must really be getting old.
Now I know this isn't the most adorable picture. But can you see how the sunscreen makes Elijah break out in hives. His eyes swell and weep and his nose runs. It was so pleasant. My poor baby. But on the health news front, he is back on Zantac for his reflux (that never went away) and it has stopped the coughing and taken away the rattle in his chest.
The sprinkler that none of the babies wanted to play in. Was a smart idea, if only they would use it.
And last but not least, Cowboy Bull. Or Cowboy JayPea
Funny.
I do miss you, but can't help myself.

Hey, I just thought you might want to know that our son, Justin, used to break out from sunblock, too. For years, we figured it was one of the perfumes or other additives in it that caused the reaction. Just about a month ago we figured out it was the coconut oil.
However, when we used really basic sunblocks (without colors or scents or anything special added), his skin tolerated it.
