Cincinnati Festivities! - Train Exhibit at Union Terminal

Elijah, who if you didn't know, is IN LOVE with trains.
So we went down to the museum center to see their holiday train display.
I'll only say, go during the week (before break).
There was nobody there and it was wonderful!

The boys wanted to put some money in.
It entertained them while we waited for the museum to officially open.

They have their own train set at home, Geo Trax, but they also loved this.
The Museum Center also had a large train for them to ride in.
Isaiah went an extra time without his brother.

First Official Snow

Isaiah was super excited about the snow.
All I heard for a month was about going out and playing in the snow.
He found a leftover pumpkin from our garden.

Elijah had some fun playing in his house.

And of course, after taking 15 minutes to get dressed,
he played for 10 and was ready to go inside.

No Official Final Grades Yet But,....

Okay, ONE official final grade!
PSY 111 - 250/295 - average 201. Official letter grade B. WOO HOO!

On my comp paper I was hoping for a 150 out of 200, I got 180 instead!

On my microbiology I was hoping for 120 out of 140, to give me an 80 average, I got 122.5. 81 average!!!

On my psych test I was hoping for 34 out of 40, I got 37 out of 40!!!

I don't know about my algebra, because he doesn't use blackboard, but I think Monday is the deadline for final grades.

Merry Christmas to me!

They Call Me....

Mr. Pig
(I love any reference to the lion king.)

Ernie wanted to name her Scooby Doo, but the boys (and I) won out with
Pig
They've already corrected him on the name.

Mid-Twenties

So far I'm liking my mid-twenties. I've only been here about 10 hours, but it's been okay.
My kids have been drama since I got home from class, but that's okay. They're toddlers.
So today for my bday, I've been up since 5:30 this morning, working on my 6 page paper I procrastinated on all Turkey Day break.
I went to class and it was pretty uneventful.
It's snowing on my birthday, which always cheers me up.
Which I know is strange, but hey that's me.
In one more year, my insurance rates will go down dramatically.
So here's hoping for no accidents (at least that are my fault) in the next year.
They are installing four more new windows in my house.
Hopefully soon I'll get a 1 year no interest/payments to Home Depot
so we can insulate our house properly.
I'm going to eat steak for my bday dinner with tatos and funfetti cupcakes.
No I haven't grown out of my funfetti cake obsession for my bday.
We are going to pick up a guinea pig and accessories and give it
a new home for Christmas.
This is more for the boys, yes, but it makes me happy too.
Plus I only have to pay for gas to get it, instead of like $100 plus to start.
Plus next week I pick up more accessories from someone off of freecycle.
I will put up pictures of pig when we get back with it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Black Friday Shopping

Two posts in one day.
Might want to try your luck at the lottery.
I never go shopping on Black Friday.
EVER!
I now know why.
We only went to Kohls and mom ran into another store.
We sat in the car.
The boys kept us entertained.

Ernie kept hiding so I couldn't take his picture.
I did get one, but it is extremely blurry.

We went to visit Grandpa Cole at Aunt Jan's house where he's staying
while he's getting his leg worked on.
We went to play outside cause it was gorgeous.

Grandpa Cole.
Not too thrilled about his picture being taken.

Great Gram.
I love me grandma!

Pop-Pop
I love me Pop-pop!

Elijah gives such sweet kisses.
He kept smooching his Nana.
The giraffe is in the picture cause Isaiah wanted me to take a picture of him.

Pucker up!

It's so funny.

Nana helping Isaiah jump on the pogo stick.
They're both making funny faces.

Nana showing Isaiah how to bounce the ball against the garage.

An actual hill!
Isaiah wanted to roll the ball down the hill.
Tennis balls don't really roll down hill too well.

Isaiah throwing the ball to Nana.

This is when he threw it against the garage door.
I think he needs to work on his catching skills.

Elijah riding in style in Grandpa Cole's wheelchair.

K trying to pick up Princess Diana.
She was freaked out by it.
She never did pick it up.

Elijah putting the giunea pig.

Elijah riding his horsey.

Take a picture of my horsey mommy.

YEE HAW!

Elijah calling Isaiah back to the house to play.
Ernie and Isaiah went exploring for a really LONG time.

Ending with a super sweet close up on Elijah.
I need to get a nice one of Isaiah.
He's making a nasty face most of the time.

Thanksgiving Festivities!

For Thanksgiving we traveled to my sister's house in Harrisburg, PA.
8 hour car ride, that was quite eventful!
Wind to start.
Rain and than snow.
Lots of salt all over the van.
At the end, open highway and clear night skies.
Nana, and Great Gram and Pop-pop came down.
Jeff and K were there.
And Jeff's parents came.

Jeff's mom bought the boys a puzzle and Nana couldn't help herself and brought some presents for the kids too. Isaiah was the one who convinced Great-Gram to get on the floor and help.

Nana mashing the tatos.

I wasn't the only one hiding behind the camera all day.

Isaiah intent on his computer.

Isaiah couldn't resist his new jammies that long.
Thanks Nana!

Take my picture Mommy!

He also wanted me to take his picture, although I don't know what's with the face.

Showing me their wonderful pictures.

They play so well together.
I'm thankful for...
...my boys
...my husband
...my school
...my family
...having food in my tummy
...owning the house of my dreams
...being alive
...walking along with Jesus
